Charges filed against Current CEO Schanzer by Ex COO Nancy Mozzachio

Ex CEO of Cedar Realty Nancy H Mozzachio filed a lawsuit against the company’s current CEO Bruce Schanzer for the charges of pay discrimination and sexual harassment. The decision whether of these charges is in the hands of a judge in Brooklyn.

According to Nancy Mozzachio on her statement last Nov 2 to CEO Bruce Schanzer, she says that he was giving improper comments to ladies at work. Nancy also claims that CEO Schanzer he has made some unfit commentary about her breasts and maliciously calling her “babe”. Nancy also shared an experience she had with the current CEO Schanzer wherein she was drinking a coffee from Dunkin Donuts where he made a an awful remark about bringing some Double Ds to the workplace. Also, the current CEO Schanzer is said to be giving out uncalled for hugs at work.

When she decided to proceed in filing a case of sexual harassment and pay disparity to court, her position has been terminated. Nancy’s meeting was canceled and removed from the company.

It was in the year 2015 when an outside investigator decided to open up the case, that’s also the time where Cedar Realty started probing on the said allegations. But according to the former COO Nancy, the investigators never probed on the claims made by the female workers who were said to be victims of the sexual harassment as well made by Schanzer. There was even one employee that reportedly went to Wall Street Journal to share her experience about Schanzer asking about the color of her underwear. For those complainants to keep their mouth shut, Cedar Realty has made a decision to pay them for the damages Schanzer has made.

The former Chief Operating Officer is popular for her booming career in Cedar Realty. From becoming the Chief Operating Officer in 2014, she has been in a couple of tough positions like being the Director of Leasing and the Vice President for Leasing in the year 2003 up to 2004. Going back to her charges about pay disparity, she shared her sentiments about receiving a small amount of incentive she receives from the company, and compared to the company’s Chief Financial Officer, she receives a way lesser amount for her salary which should definitely be not the case. The said company has pleaded no guilty on the charges and after the investigation process made, the charges have not been approved and has been identified as no merit.
